At OVEM, every garment is created with exceptional attention to craftsmanship, fit and finishing.

Ready-to-Wear Returns

Every garment from OVEM Couture is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. If your select ready-to-wear piece is not a perfect fit, we gladly offer complimentary luxury return shipping to ensure your ultimate satisfaction.

The Return Period

Eligible purchases must be registered and dispatched back to our Parisian atelier within 14 calendar days from the date of initial delivery to qualify for a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility Guidelines

  • Garments must be entirely unworn, unaltered, and unwashed.
  • All couture tags and security seals must remain firmly attached.
  • Items must be returned in their original designer box and protection hanger.
  • Fragrance, cosmetic, or any visible markings render the return void.

Condition of Returns

Due to the bespoke, artisanal nature of OVEM Couture, returns are subject to exceptional scrutiny. To qualify for a return or store credit, items must be in pristine, unaltered condition—completely unworn, undamaged, and with all original silk thread security seals intact. All customized pieces and bespoke alterations remain final sale.

06 / Individual Pattern Drafting

Every bespoke commission begins as a clean slate. A unique paper pattern is meticulously drafted from up to thirty individual anatomical measurements. This master blueprint is cut exclusively for you, ensuring a finished silhouette that conforms to no standard but your own.

07 / Iterative Fitting Process

True couture is sculpted in stages. Over a series of private atelier consultations, the design is refined first in cotton toile, then in your chosen noble fabric. This deliberate process guarantees unmatched structural precision, contouring, and flawless movement.

08 / Hand-Finished Artistry

From French seams to hand-beaded Calais lace appliqués, every detail is executed with historical couture techniques. No machinery can replicate the nuance of our artisans’ handwork, making minor structural variations a hallmark of genuine, high-fashion luxury.

Acquisition Policy

Bespoke Terms

Non-Refundable

Due to immediate textile allocation and tailored pattern drafting, bespoke deposits and payments are completely non-refundable once design approval is secured.

Non-Exchangeable
Each gown is modeled to unique custom specifications. Completed commissions cannot be returned, credited, or exchanged for alternative styles.
Adjustment Remedy
Should fitting variances occur post-delivery, OVEM Couture provides in-atelier structural adjustments to guarantee the intended aesthetic profile.

Bespoke Fitting & Alteration Guidelines

To ensure your couture creation represents the absolute pinnacle of high-fashion tailoring, our atelier operates under precise structure and guidelines. Explore our policies regarding refinement periods, requested alterations, and body updates below.

01 / Bespoke Adjustment Period

Following the final physical fitting in our studio, a dedicated 14-day adjustment period is provided. Within this luxury window, any minor fine-tuning of the hemline, bust fit, and structural seam line alignments are executed with our compliments, guaranteeing absolute comfort and security.
Any creative or design alterations requested after pattern finalization—such as neckline transformations, silhouette redesign, or major luxury fabric substitutions—will be formally assessed by our lead couturier. These design variations are subject to additional atelier labor and material charges.
Our master patterns are custom engineered to your precise body profile at the time of initial measurement. We advise maintaining a stable silhouette throughout the tailoring calendar. Significant physical changes may require comprehensive interior rebuilding, which is subject to professional restructuring fees.
