Terms of Use

Welcome to OVEM. This website is operated by OVEM Limited (“OVEM”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our website, products and services. By accessing this website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, placing an order or making payment for an OVEM product or service, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms, together with any additional terms contained in your quotation, invoice, order confirmation, bespoke agreement, rental agreement or other written communication issued by OVEM. OVEM FASHION HOUSE

Terms of Service

1. OUR SERVICES

OVEM is a couture and fashion house offering services that may include: Bespoke Bridal Couture, Bespoke Occasionwear, Made-to-Measure Garments, Ready-to-Wear, Bridal and Occasionwear Rentals, Consultations, Express Services, Training and other fashion-related services. Availability, pricing, production timelines and specific terms may vary depending on the service selected.

2. BESPOKE & MADE-TO-MEASURE ORDERS

All bespoke commissions and made-to-measure creations are crafted in our atelier to the exact specifications of the individual client. Production begins only upon final confirmation of measurements, design sketches, and material selections. Due to the artisanal complexity and precise nature of couture, completion timelines are estimates and subject to adjustment.

3. PAYMENTS & DEPOSITS

To secure your place in our atelier scheduling, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of consultation and booking. The final balance is due prior to the final fitting, garment release, or shipping. Payments are processed securely, and detailed breakdowns can be provided upon request.

4. PRICING

All prices are quoted in accordance with custom requirements, textile selections, and design complexity. Standard quotes are valid for up to 30 days. We reserve the right to revise pricing in the event of major structural or fabric modifications requested post-agreement.

5. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & APPROVAL

No physical construction on any garment begins without the client’s explicit design and textile approval. Any changes requested after the initial approval of designs, muslins, or mockups may incur restructuring fees and will likely extend the estimated completion timeline.

COUTURE CLIENT CHARTER

Legal Terms & Craftsmanship Guidelines

06 / ORIGINAL DESIGN & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All sketches, designs, patterns, and creations remain the sole intellectual property of the Fashion House. Reproductions, alterations by third parties, or commercial exploitation without express written consent are strictly prohibited.

07 / MEASUREMENTS

Client measurements are taken with meticulous precision during the initial consultation. The Fashion House is not responsible for fit discrepancies resulting from weight fluctuations, pregnancy, or physical changes occurring after the final measurements are signed off.

08 / FITTINGS

A minimum of three fitting sessions are required to ensure couture-standard drape and finish. Clients must wear the exact undergarments and bridal shoes intended for the event to each fitting. Missed appointments may delay completion.

09 / PRODUCTION TIMELINES

Standard couture production requires 6 to 9 months from receipt of deposit and approved measurements. Hand-embroidery, custom fabric mill weaving, and complex lace applique may extend this timeline. Detailed progress updates are provided bi-monthly.

10 / EXPRESS ORDERS

Orders requested within less than 4 months of the event date are classified as Express Orders. These are subject to workshop capacity and incur a mandatory rush fee of 20% to 50% of the total design value, payable immediately.

TERMS OF SERVICE

PURCHASE & SERVICE POLICIES • SECTIONS 11 TO 15

11

READY-TO-WEAR

Standard ready-to-wear garments are eligible for return or exchange within 14 calendar days of receipt. All items must be in pristine, unworn condition, with all custom brand tags, protective seals, and high-fashion packaging completely intact. Altered, laundered, or lightly damaged items will not be accepted and will be returned to the client.
12

BESPOKE RETURNS & ALTERATIONS

Due to the highly specialized, bespoke nature of our made-to-order couture and custom bridal designs, all bespoke sales are final and strictly non-refundable. Once a custom design enters the creation phase, modifications are limited. Fittings and scheduled alterations must occur within the exact timelines outlined in your private client agreement to guarantee a flawless finish.
13

RENTALS

All editorial and event rentals must be returned by the strictly designated drop-off time. Unapproved extension of the rental timeline will result in penalty fees. While general wear is accounted for, any structural damage, fabric tears, permanent stains, or major alterations on rented items will require the customer to compensate the fashion house up to the full retail replacement value of the piece.
14

DELIVERY & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Our high-fashion creations are dispatched worldwide using insured, premium luxury courier partners. Please note that customs inspections, local import duties, and individual regional clearance parameters are completely beyond our domain and remain the sole financial obligation of the importing customer.
15

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGE OF MIND

Cancellations for standard ready-to-wear orders must be initiated within a strict window of 24 hours post-purchase. For bespoke orders and reserved rentals, the associated retainer or structural design deposit becomes non-refundable the moment consultation begins, drafting gets initiated, or specialized luxury fabric sourcing gets underway.
